Your Questions, Answered

  • Part of being intentionally small is the ability to hand deliver loaves when needed. You can swing by my place in Meyer’s or I will deliver it to you if you live in the delivery area.

If you are a new customer, I’ll reach out directly and make sure you get your bread. We have a small community, getting it from me to you shouldn’t be difficult.

Won’t be home during the delivery window? Consider placing an empty cooler near your front door for me to leave the bread.

  • I accept Venmo: @thebreadsmith
    or cash.

  • I make what inspires me. It might be a triple sesame loaf, Pain au Gruyere, or Cranberry Fig Cardamom. I’ll give you a heads up on next month’s loaf.

  • Honestly, I’m trying to keep this simple and personal. I don’t want to post my phone number on the site for privacy, therefore when you sign up, only you get my info.

As for ordering, I am able to personally take each order and answer any questions. I want to get to know my community. Get to know you.

  • No. I’ll give you some for free. Just ask.

  • We live in a very dry climate, which means your bread will dry out quickly once it’s cut.

I like to cut my loaf straight down the center, to that I can always keep the cut ends against each other.

I really recommend a reusable bread bag, the kind that are lined with bees wax. Otherwise, wrap your bread in the butcher paper it came in, then place it in an airtight container or plastic bag.

Remember, REAL bread won’t last for weeks on end.
